“Like a hurricane Robert Förstemann swept through the Berlin Velodrome! But he wasn’t the only one to put in a terrific performance in the lap record race of the “Wolfram” Champions Sprint. Four out of six riders broke the 13-second mark. Förstemann took first place in front of cheering crowds with a time of 12.611 seconds. Erik Balzer was close behind with a time of 12.634 seconds.
